FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for killing open well flowing consists in cutting off column and in direct pumping choking fluid into well by means of mechanised split hydro-driven installation mounted on column below point of stream flow. Also, the column is cut off and its tube channel is sealed simultaneously. A special cavity made in a cutting member of the installation facilitates direct communication of the cavity of the tube channel of the column after its cutting off with a line of chocking fluid supply to the installation, which immediately kills the well.
EFFECT: safety of emergency operations at wellhead, fast and reliable sealing tube channel of flowing column and direct performance of process operations for well killing.
