OPERATION METHOD OF GAS TRANSPORT SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F17D1/00

Abstract RU 2411408 C1

FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: operation method of gas transport system involves gas pumping through pipelines in necessary directions with gas filling of underground gas storages if necessary. At that, along gas lines, very close to them there placed at regular intervals are wind-driven power plants, the generated electric power of which is used to obtain hydrogen which is pumped to gas pipeline. Beside wind-driven power plants along gas lines, wind-driven power plants are placed immediately on the territory or near the territory of underground gas storages where hydrogen obtained by means of electric power from those wind-driven power plants is pumped.

EFFECT: improving gas transport efficiency owing to energy generating properties of hydrogen.
