FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: dc voltage is applied and four current values are measured, where the first measurement is taken at an arbitrary moment in time after application of the voltage and the next measurements are taken after equal time intervals which are equal to the time interval between the first and second measurements, and parametres of the two-terminal circuit are then determined (version 1). Linearly rising voltage is applied and five current measurements are taken, where the first measurement is taken at an arbitrary moment in time and the next measurements are taken after equal time intervals which are equal to the time interval between the first and second measurements, and parametres of the two-terminal circuit are then determined (version 2). Direct current is transmitted through the two-terminal circuit and four instantaneous voltage values are measured, where the first measurement is taken at an arbitrary moment in time after transmitting current and the next measurements are taken after equal time intervals which are equal to the time interval between the first and second measurements, and parametres of the two-terminal circuit are then determined (version 3). Linearly increasing current is transmitted through the analysed two-terminal circuit and five instantaneous voltage values are measured, where the first measurement is taken at an arbitrary moment in time after transmitting current and the next measurements are taken after equal time intervals which are equal to the time interval between the first and second measurements, and parametres of the two-terminal circuit are then determined (version 4).
