FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: model represents gas- or fluid saturated pack in compressed condition that contains ultrathin compact flexible plates of the same size. The plates have microholes. At the plates' surface there located are overlaps formed as a result of application and hardening of drops of the same material that the plates are, dissolved in fluid. At compression there is a gap between neighbouring plates due to overlaps. The gap imitates extended cracks with rough walls. The plate holes and gaps between the plates imitate hydraulically connected pore and crack system in the rocks. The gap width is defined by specified opening of imitated rock cracks. By way of overlap height variation it is possible to change the gap width between the plates and, thus, model fracture porosity.
EFFECT: possibility to control fracturing parameters and provision of hydraulic connection between the cracks in the model.
