FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: developer cartridge and developing device are proposed, permitting to prevent leakage of developer, which may occur in process of replacement of developer storage unit, and device to generate images, including them. Image generation device includes body of image generation device, where channel of transfer for printed medium is generated, and developing device to develop visible image. Developing device may include, for instance, developing cartridge, unit of developer storage, which contains developer stock inside and which is arranged with the possibility of replacement in developer cartridge, in order to generate channel of developer transfer, being communicated by liquid medium with developer cartridge, and shutter unit, which closes channel of developer transfer, when developer storage unit is extracted from developer cartridge.

EFFECT: reduced leakage of developer in replacement.
