FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: seeds of Serratula coronata, gathered from various sources of growth, are calibrated, then light and temperature effect at their germinating ability is identified. Then, in accordance with data obtained on effect at germinating ability, seeds are laid for germination for various terms into Petri dishes in four replications, 50 pieces in each thermostat. Germinated seeds are sown in field, and data on 50 middle-aged fruiting plants is analysed. Main elements of seed productivity are compared.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to produce population of Serratula coronata plants with balanced processes of growth and development rhythm.
