FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of palladium nanocrystalline membrane-type catalysts. Proposed method comprises reducing palladium salts, feeding palladium salt solution on one side of pre-treated membrane and feeding hydrogen through membrane pores from the opposite side to allow hydrogen to diffuse through membrane pores to its opposite side, and reducing palladium slat to metal palladium. Polymer hydrophobic porous membrane may by a hollow-fiber membrane and a flat membrane.

EFFECT: simple method, possibility to use for catalytic removal of dissolved oxygen from water.
