FIELD: electrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemistry, namely to the design of structural elements of hydrogen pumps and oxygen-hydrogen fuel elements, specifically to the device for hydrogen electrodes. Method comprises fixing a palladium membrane with thickness of 1–30 mcm, coated on both sides with a layer of finely dispersed palladium black, on a porous metal nickel base by contact spot welding, wherein the fine coating is made from nanosized palladium crystallites in the form of flowers, petals of which are quadrangular bipyramids with size from 500–250 to 100–50 nm with thickness of 20–60 nm.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of content of precious palladium, more stable in time electrical characteristics, in particular, specific power of hydrogen electrode.
