FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates devices that feed material to cutting tools and may be used in tire production. Proposed device comprises fist and second web feed conveyors, first and second carriages and carriage guides. Conveyors are spaced apart along the web and secured to carriages. First conveyor is arranged ahead of second conveyor. Both conveyors are provided with elements for engagement with web. Conveyor incorporates beam with its lower surface accommodated a number of magnets. The latter are arranged to move up and down relative to web. Carriages are interconnected to reciprocate as one piece. Guides are continuous along the whole reciprocation of carriages. Initial web is fed stepwise into cutting device.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of feed.
