FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device intended for cutting strips from material band. Cutting device comprises longer top knife and bottom knife. Bottom knife can displace along longer top knife. Longer top knife can turn to get in contact with bottom knife. Rotary motion comprises, at least, one component directed perpendicular to longer top knife. The latter can be drive by servo motor to contact with bottom knife and act thereon with definite force. Said servo motor is composed of controlled motor. Besides, cutting device is equipped with feedback controller to provided for contact force of action on bottom action.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
