FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applied electrochemistry and can be used in preparing a liquid antioxidant which stimulates and normalises processes in biological objects. The method of preparing a liquid antioxidant-stimulant involves feeding water into an electrolysis cell, carrying out water electrolysis in a diaphragm cell for a period of time necessary for attaining pH 9.5-11.0 using a catholyte and then mixing the obtained catholyte with all the anolyte obtained from water electrolysis, or a portion thereof. In order to improve quality of the end product, water is passed through a set of gauze electrodes before feeding it into the electrolysis cell. The distance between two neighbouring electrodes is equal to 1-1.5 cm and alternating sign potential is applied across the electrodes. Values of the potential are such that the potential difference between any two neighbouring electrodes lies in the range of 12-24 V.
EFFECT: high quality of the end product - antioxidant-stimulant, by preventing any, even the smallest bacteria (nanobacteria), from falling into the end product.
