FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves extraction of gold by concentrating a solution with an organic extraction agent containing a chemical solution with guanidine functional groups in an organic diluent. After extraction, the aqueous solution is separated from the organic extraction agent. Contact during extraction is realised using an organic extraction agent in form of a solution which contains a reagent composition with guanidine functional groups with aliphatic or aromatic amines.
EFFECT: quantitative extraction of the gold cyanide complex from aqueous solutions in a wide range of concentrations of alkali with pH 8-13.
