FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: upon tempering and washing with alkali solution fasteners are subjected to annealing in furnace at 520-600°C during 2.5-3.0 hours. Further, fasteners are uniformly supplied to a belt conveyer passing through a tank filled with a water conserving solution. Conserving solution contains motor oil, 2-12 % of water emulsion Servitol 3070 and water. The fasteners are conditioned in conserving solution during 12-30 min at 60-90°C. Treated fasteners are supplied to pre-packing and packed to sealed packages as complete sets.
EFFECT: increased shelf life of items, reduced labour input and cost of assembly operations.
