FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermomechanical treatment of profiled hot-rolled stock from structural steels of pearlite class. To obtain required strength and plastic characteristics of rolled stock owing to preparation of uniform finely dispersed structure of plate sorbite over entire cross-section area and length of rolled coil, method of preparing hot-rolled stock includes its annealing at temperature of 760–780 °C with exposure for 3–4 hours, cooling with furnace to 170–180 °C, holding for 1–2 hours, further cooling in air, primary reduction with degree of 19–21 %, secondary – with degree of 9–10 % and isothermal treatment by patenting at temperature of 475 °C.
EFFECT: invention can be used in making of high-strength fastening rod products for cars, tractor, agricultural and special equipment.
