SUBSTANCE: drill unit is positioned on sea bottom and is pressure tight closed relative to environment. The floor of the drill unit has an automatic device for replacement of tools and a cassette for storage of tools and components. Also, the automatic device for replacement of tools can at least replace and transport tools and components between the drill centre of the drill unit and cassette for storage of the tools and components.
EFFECT: remote control of drill operations on sea bottom.
