FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to manufacturing of oral care compositions. An offered composition contains a sufficient amount of a fluoride ion source for supplying at least 5000 portions per a million of fluoride ions; an effective amount of antisensitiser - potassium nitrate; and at least approximately 40 wt % of water. For maintaining anti-caries activity of fluoride ion in storage of the oral care composition, it is effective to ensure the composition containing also approximately 0.5 wt % to approximately 15 wt % of hydrocolloid specified in a group consisting of Rhodopol 23, carrageenan and their combinations. Use of carrageenan is effective especially.
EFFECT: maintained anti-caries activity of fluoride ion in the composition containing high concentration of fluoride ions, effective amount of potassium nitrate and water.
