SUBSTANCE: invention refers to toothpaste compositions containing a fluoride ion source for reinforcement and protection of natural dental enamel. The composition contains the fluoride ion source and 0.01 to 1.5 wt/wt % of xanthane gum, 0.01 to 1.5 wt/wt % of Carbomer, 0.01 to 2.0 wt/wt % of carrageenan, the thickening agent silicone dioxide and the dental abrasive silicone dioxide; the composition has pH within 5.5 to 6.5.
EFFECT: using the toothpaste ensures good reinforcement and protection of the dental enamel by the above combination of the components in a combination with pH of the toothpaste composition, and provides good preservation of the composition applied on a toothbrush that is especially effective in preparing the toothpaste with colour strips.
