FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conical crushers, primarily, coarse and fine crushers. Proposed crusher comprises housing, top housing, tubular axle arranged secured vertically to the housing and provided with axial through bore to receive support tie rod. Support tie rod has top and bottom ends, bottom end being jointed with actuating member mounted on the housing. Conical head accommodates crushing chamber formed together with top housing. Conical head rests axially on tie rod top end and radially on tubular axle, while actuating member is selectively driven to maintain tie rod and axial positions relative to top housing. Support tie rod top end is articulated with conical head while its bottom end is jointed to the housing by spherical joint. Support tie rod forms, together with tubular axle through axial bore, a radial clearance to allow support tie rod to oscillate around spherical joint together with oscillations of conical head in operation. Radial clearance is somewhat larger than eccentricity of conical head radial bearing that allows preventing contact between tie rod and tubular axle.
EFFECT: increased life of bearing assembly.
