FIELD: cone crusher.

SUBSTANCE: cone crusher 100 includes crushing head 110 that is rotatably positioned around substantially vertical main shaft 120 and on which first crushing liner 112 is mounted, frame 130 on which second crushing liner 134 is mounted such that the first crushing liner and the second crushing liner are together limiting the crushing gap, eccentric 140 rotatably located about a shaft axis A defined by main shaft 120, drive 150 rotatably positioned on said eccentric such that the crushing head rotatably positioned on the eccentric performs a rotary pendulum motion for crushing material introduced into the crushing gap, and support device 160 located inside cavity 12 of said main shaft. The supporting device is configured to support the crushing head and can be moved along the axis of the shaft to adjust the width of the crushing gap, while supporting device 160 is supported in the transverse direction inside the cavity at least in the upper support position P1, in which the upper part is supported in the transverse direction by the main shaft. In this case, support device 160 has upper part 162, which is surrounded by a crushing head and which is configured to provide support for said crushing head, and lower part 164 extending downward inside the cavity of the main shaft. Moreover, the upper and lower parts have different external dimensions, specified in the transverse direction relative to the shaft axis, so that in the transition section between upper part 162 and lower part 164, active pressure surface 166 is formed to ensure the formation of compression chamber 168 with a variable volume inside the cavity below the specified surface active pressure, wherein support device 160 is supported laterally within the cavity at a lower support position P2 in which lower portion 164 is supported by main shaft 120 in the transverse direction.

EFFECT: cone crusher is characterized by increased stability and maintainability.
