SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to disposable oral care products which can be used for removing food debris from interdental space and cervical portions of gums, removing dental calculus from dental surface, as well as for prevention of dental and oral diseases. In a first version of a toothpick which comprises a working portion with a working flange, shaped or smooth edges, or combined, the working portion is at least one-layer at least at one edge. At least one of the edges or at least a part of the edge of the working portion forms easy-detachable joints with a similar edge or the part of the edge of the working portion of the other toothpick. In a second version, the working portion comprises at least two permanently jointed layers forming a closed cavity in between. The cavity can accommodate material objects therein. In a method for making toothpicks, individual toothpicks are separated from a toothpick block made by the first version of the group of inventions.

EFFECT: enhancement and extended range of produced disposable products for removing food debris from interdental space and cervical portions of gums, more ease of use, improved manufacturing capability ensured by overall removing food debris and dental calculus, as well as simplified toothpick design, provided unification considering individual anatomic features of users, and higher ease of manufacture.
