FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a chain stabilisation device for a hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus and to a method of using thereof. The device accommodates a chain stabilisation control unit for stable fixed-level chain transfer regardless of climbing or step-down of a hyperthermic therapeutic exposure unit of the hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus, a chain tension adjustment unit comprising a first joint shaft having rotating rollers at its both end faces and coupling sections to the chain on both sides of its centre, level adjustment rods pivotally end-connected with the first and the second joint shafts. A second joint shaft is coupled with the other ends of the level adjustment rods and simultaneously with a lower end face of the central portion of a support of the hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus. The support has a section with the hyperthermic therapeutic exposure unit mounted thereon, and the support is supplied by the rotating rollers coupled with its both side end faces. The chain tension adjustment unit contains a free pulley located on a side opposite to an electric motor, and freely rotated by the chain which has been wound around it. A level adjustment pulley is located above the free pulley and used to adjust the chain level in section positions for coupling with the chain. Also, the device comprises a case section for external protection of the free pulley and level adjustment pulley, and a tension adjustment facility by moving the chain tension adjustment unit forward or backward in relation to the electric motor depending on chain tension. The chain stabilisation device is a part of the hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus also comprising a base mattress with an extended groove and containing the hyperthermic therapeutic exposure unit reciprocating in the extended groove, direct and curved rails used as guides for front/back reciprocation or climbing/step-down of the hyperthermic therapeutic exposure unit. Mode of operation of the hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus consists in the fact that if chain tension transcends of a primarily adjusted range during front/back reciprocation of the hyperthermic therapeutic exposure unit, repositioning of the unit in a front or back direction in relation to the electric motor is made depending on chain tension, thereby adjusting its tension, and providing the use of the hyperthermic therapeutic apparatus in a stable state.
EFFECT: invention allows higher stability of hyperthermic exposure.
