FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is intended for treatment of scoliosis or osteochondrosis of thoracic spine. Apparatus contains framework, support, pelvis belt, unit of axial traction and unit of fluctuations with drive. Support consists of first section intended for upper part of the body - head and humeral part, second section intended for lower part of the body - loin, pelvis and legs, and intermediate section intended for middle part of the body - chest. Two groups of tension springs connect intermediate section with first and second sections. First section has stops for patient's shoulders. Second section has unit limiting rotation of patient's pelvis. Intermediate section is made from three planks - two extreme and one middle. Extreme planks are connected with opposite sides of middle plank by means of elastic strips or hinges, which have parallel axes, the latter being located perpendicular to support axis. All planks are located across support axis. Each group of strings has row-by-row placement with location of spring axes along support axis. One group of springs connects first section with extreme plank closest to first section, the second group connects second section with plank closest to second section. Middle plank has longitudinal guide. Framework is made from first and second frames, for first and second sections correspondingly. First and second frames are connected to each other. Unit of axial traction contains control rods, side rollers for control rods and regulated power drive for rods with dynamometre. Control rods are fixed to pelvis belt. Side rollers for control rods are installed on free end of second section. Regulated power drive for control rods with dynamometre is installed on second frame. Drive unit of fluctuations has electric engine with gearbox or variator and control unit, and transmission lever, the latter being made in form of tube and located in it threaded rod, as well as from located on threaded rod spring of compression, which has possibility of rest from one side against rod nuts, and from the other side against tube edge, on the tube there is a projecting scale for regulation of spring compression force. Free end of tube is intended for hinged connection with slider, free end of rod being intended for hinged connection with projection located on pulley plane at regulated distance from pulley centre. Pulley is fixed on outlet shaft of gearbox or variator. Slider has possibility of installation into longitudinal guide of middle plank and regulation of position and fixation of slider in said guide for change of amplitude of intermediate section fluctuations with its rotation. Said engine is installed on second frame with possibility of regulation and fixation of its vertical position with respect to second section. Support is provided with detachable mattress which can be fixed to support.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility to develop thoracic spine due to causing it to move not only upwards/downwards, but giving it fluctuating movements relative to axis passing along spine with regulation of amplitude and acting force from apparatus, both independently and together with spine traction
