SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to sports equipment, in particular, to mats and can be used during trainings in combat sports and for gymnastic exercises. Sports universal carpet consists of extreme and intermediate sections. Connection of sections is made in form of cover from anti-slide fabric. Ends of cover are connected to extreme sections by their rolling up into cover. Medium part of cover is made with possibility of complete covering of intermediate sections placed under cover. Length of medium part of cover equals total length of intermediate sections. Extreme sections from the side which contacts the floor, are provided with fixing elements and pockets for fixing elements. Fixing elements are located both on the surface of extreme sections and on butt ends of extreme sections. Each extreme section is provided with traction bands. Sections are made from shock-absorbing material. Fixing elements are preferably made in form of metal tubes. Pockets for fixing elements are made adjustable in accordance with the type and parametres of fixing elements. Sports universal carpet is provided with loops or handles, made, for instance, from the same material as cover, and located on carpet edges.
