FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to construction of pipelines in water-flooded and marshy areas of the route. Method involves excavation of a trench, laying of pipeline into the trench, covering of itself, bottom, side surfaces and berms of trench with flexible mats so that side pockets are formed, filling of the above said and top of pipeline with soil, covering of soil with longitudinal sections of mats and final filling of the trench so that external bead is formed. One of the two side pockets of each mat is made so that it is deflected above the trench bottom. Pockets with deflection are arranged at adjacent unfolded mats in a staggered order relative to pipeline axis. At that, each mat on the side of deflected pocket is fixed against being displaced on the berm of trench with banked ground, and then, opposite pocket is filled up to the top of pipeline, thus preventing the displacement of mat on its surface by partial filling of deflected pocket, and after that, its filling and filling of the trench as a whole is continued. Design length of the mat section forming the deflected pocket is determined depending on elasticity modulus and strength at tension of mat material (geotextile cloth).

EFFECT: reliable fastening of pipeline in conditions of water-flooded soil without additional labour costs and material consumption.
