FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding, particularly, to DC welding arc power supplies. Power supply comprises control converter, welding transformer, output throttle and power supply for booster made up of secondary winding of lighter, limiting throttle and lighter rectifier. Welding transformer primary is connected with control converter input while welding transformer secondary is connected with output rectifier. Lighter rectifier negative output is connected with output rectifier negative output. Output throttle is connected between positive output of output rectifier and positive output of lighter. Output rectifier positive and negative output are directly connected to positive and negative terminals of output welding circuit.
EFFECT: improved thermal mode, higher reliability in lighter, stable welding arc, reduced weight and sizes.
