FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in construction, manufacturing and household conditions as a power supply, meant for arc- and resistance welding different objects using direct current. The true output of the clock generator (1) of the inverter power supply is connected to control inputs of the first (3) and fourth (8) electronic switches, and the inverted output is connected to control inputs of the second (4) and third (7) electronic switches. Bipolar power supply (2) is connected by the positive terminal to the input of the first electronic switch (3), the negative terminal is connected to the input of the second (4) electronic switch, the common terminal is connected to second terminals of both storage capacitors (5, 6) and the second terminal of the primary winding of welding transformer (9), with a common terminal for connecting to the welded object (13). The output of the first electronic switch (3) is connected to the first terminal of the first storage capacitor (5) and the input of the third electronic switch (7), the output of the second electronic switch (4) is connected to the first terminal of the second storage capacitor (6) and the input of the fourth electronic switch (8), the output of which is connected to the output of the third electronic switch (7) and the first terminal of the primary winding of the welding transformer (9).

EFFECT: increased reliability and stability of output operational characteristics.
