An attempt is made to forward the record information to an enterprise hub DNS server. The record information is stored constantly in a cache. Storing the record information constantly in cache may be performed selectively or non-selectively.

EFFECT: possibility of sending a request and receiving the corresponding response for address resolution in the absence of a connection between the branch office and enterprise hub, low volume of network traffic between the branch office and the enterprise hub.
