FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Patient's condition is determined by calculation of point sum taking into account systolic arterial pressure; number of heart contractions per 1 minute; number of respiratory movements per 1 minute; content of hemoglobin, blood erythrocytes and hematocrit level, estimating each index depending on its value from 0 to 4 points. If the sum is lower or equals 5 points, patient's condition is considered to be relatively stable, if it equals 1 or 2 points - stable. In case of combination of fractures presenting life-threatening condition - shock of 3-4 degree, at the first stage surgical intervention, including only temporary fixation of fragments, is performed, and if relative stabilisation of condition and further stabilisation of condition takes place during 2 days, successively low-impact osteosynthesis and traditional in level of traumaticity osteosynthesis are carried out. In case of severe fractures without direct threat for patient's life, first relative stabilisation of condition is achieved, and after that low-impact osteosynthesis is performed, and when stabilisation of condition is achieved, traditional in level of traumaticity osteosynthesis is performed. In case of fractures, which do not influence homeostasis system essentially, surgical intervention is performed in one step.
EFFECT: method ensures selection of optimal tactics of treatment depending on type of fracture and patient's condition, reduction of post-operational complications.
