FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used to determine risk of death as a result of conversion of external fixation apparatus into submerged osteosynthesis. Method consists in the fact that the complex comprises the assessment of the severity of the condition according to the SOFA scale: clinical examination - determination of cardiovascular hypotension (A2), Glasgow coma score (A3), diuresis score (A7); determination of laboratory parameters of venous blood - partial pressure of oxygen (A4), thrombocyte level (A1), total bilirubin level (A5), creatinine level (A6). Additionally, severity of injuries is determined by NISS scale (A11), sodium level (A8), blood lactate level (A10) and blood glucose level (A9). Further, according to table 3 of the description, each indicator is assigned a point. Obtained points are summed up. Sum of points is used to determine the degree of risk of lethal outcome (A): if the total score is from 0 to 7, a low risk of 2.0 ± 1.9% of fatal outcome is determined, if the total score is from 8 to 11, the average risk is 12.0 ± 7.9%, with score from 12 to 14 - high risk 40.0 ± 19.9%, and if the total score is more than 15, a very high risk of 80.0 ± 19.9%.
EFFECT: invention enables to select the optimal time for conversion osteosynthesis.
