FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: multi-stage liquid-ring compressor includes external rotor 1 and internal rotor 31, which can be rotated from external drives 2 and 18 respectively. Rotor 1 forms liquid ring 6 with free surface 8 in ambient gas medium during rotation with working liquid. Rotor 31 is arranged with eccentricity in liquid ring 6 and has discs 7, 10, 12, and 14 which do not go beyond limits of liquid ring 6 and form hydraulic locks in pairs with discs 5, 16 of rotor 1. Closed suction cavity filled with gas and impeller put on rotor 31 shaft is located between locks in each section of liquid ring 6. In flow part of impeller there located is suction chamber 9 cyclically going beyond volume limits of liquid ring 6 during rotor 31 rotation. Delivery channel 24 with delivery valve 25 enters suction cavity of impeller of the next stage. Ratio of rotation frequencies of rotors 1 and 31 is permanent.
EFFECT: enlarging the range of gas pressures required for the consumer.
