FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: signals are received from spacecrafts of global navigation satellite systems to GPS-receiver installed on object. Then information on object acceleration in basic system of coordinates and information on angle of course are received from GPS-receiver. Information on object acceleration in bound coordinate system is received from unit of three accelerometers, measurement axes of which are mutually perpendicular and match axes of coordinates system joined to object. Parametres of orientation, with account of information on angle of course produced from GPS receiver, are determined by solution of a matrix equation.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of orientation parametres determination and reduced weight and dimension characteristics of movable object orientation system.
