FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus or some other device is combined with a wireless communication device into a single telemetry device. Information read by the telemetry device from its sensor is stored in that telemetry device until the moment of confirmation that it has been received by the data processing centre. Periodicity of reading information from each telemetry device and its transmission to the data processing centre is set by this centre. All telemetry devices, besides reading and transmitting information from their sensors, function as repeaters during transmission of information from the source telemetry device to the data processing centre and commands from this centre to corresponding telemetry devices. The route for transmitting information from the telemetry device to the data processing centre and commands from the data processing centre to the telemetry device is selected based on the length of the route by counting the number of telemetry devices through which information and commands pass, as well as based on communication quality provided by each telemetry device on that route.

EFFECT: high reliability of reading and transmitting information.
