SUBSTANCE: hand-held electric mixer, for instance, hand beater (1), is described. Hand mixer comprises electric motor installed in body (2) and serving for selective actuation of various working elements, such as mixing or kneading hooks (10) or rod to make puree (11). Hand mixer (1) has control element (6) for connection or disconnection of switch (12) for connection or disconnection of electric motor (7). Switch (12) is arranged with the possibility of operation in short-term mode or in long-term mode, which depends on type of appropriate connected working element (10,11). Besides, there is a fixing facility (13) of control element (6) provided, which, depending on type of connected working element, is either engaged with response fixing facility (14) or not.
