FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impact device. Proposed device comprises housing and impact piston arranged therein to reciprocate forced by operating fluid. Housing accommodates first and second operating fluid chambers, control valve arranged around impact piston ear end to move along impact piston, and operating fluid channels. Impact piston read end has annular surface that faces control valve. Control valve inner surface has annular surface facing impact piston. With aforesaid annular surfaces aligned, they throttle operating fluid flow between impact piston and control valve. At impact piston back stroke start, control valve stays at extreme rear position. With impact piston displaced into preset position, rear annular surface is aligned with that on control valve inner surface. With impact piston travelling on, pressure in operating fluid second chamber increases. Pressure acting on control valve surface from the side of second chamber makes control valve moving towards front end of impact device.
EFFECT: control valve position changes fast and efficient, damping pad is created for piston and valve.
