FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plunger-free engine in electric power generation system. This engine comprises cylinder and piston with two ends to reciprocate therein. This piston divides said cylinder in two chambers for compressed working fluid to be injected therein from one or more inlet means. Note here that said piston can displace above and by said inlet means at every stroke so that working fluid is replenished in one chamber when piston compresses fluid in another chamber. Note here that said piston features elongated shape, its length being at least five times larger than its diameter. Note also that cylinder features length at least ten times as large as its diameter while inlet means comprises slide valve.
EFFECT: lower costs of power generation.
