FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to automatic railway couplings with mating parts similar as to type and shape. Railway automatic coupling includes coupling heads with shanks, which are connected to necks of hinged joints. Connections of coupling head to shank and/or shank to neck of hinged joint are made on end surface of attached parts tightened with required force by means of screw device with opposite directed thread interacting with the appropriate thread of attached parts aligned by means of guide surfaces. Guide surfaces are made on screw device and/or on mating parts fixed against mutual rotation with stopping device.
EFFECT: simplifying the design and improving operating reliability of threaded connections.
