FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mine sweeping, and namely to sweeping of bottom and near-bottom sea mines with possibility of line towing near the ground, in shallow water and in directions perpendicular to the coastline. According to the mine sweeping method, in the mine laying area, by means of towed sea water-borne vehicle there created is hydrodynamic field by emitting the system of vortexes of toroidal structure, which simulates hydrodynamic field of the ship, and by the impact of which on sea mines there performed is their firing. Mine sweeping device includes towing ship and sea water-borne vehicle made in the form of emitter of system of vortexes of toroidal structure generating ring vortexes. Housing of emitter is made in the form of water-filled pipe piece with edges one of which is closed with the cover in the centre of which the hole is located with possibility of changing its diametre, and the other edge is blanked off. Cavity of emitter housing is divided with membrane-type plate into two semi-chambers. Source of hydrodynamic force pulse impacts, which is made in the form of electromagnetic hammer of intermittent operation, and reflector-concentrator located after it, is installed inside one of the semi-chambers, which is arranged opposite to the hole, along the housing axis. Emitter is equipped with devices supporting it deep under water and with system retaining it at the specified distance above the ground.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of destruction of bottom and near-bottom mines.
