FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: assembly method of gas-turbine engine involves attachment of the second module to the first module by installing the second shaft of the second module together with inner bearing race into inner cavity of trunnion rigidly attached to the above first module and containing outer bearing race. When implementing the method, first, the second module with the second shaft is butt joint with the first module to the specified distance to the above trunnion. Then, the second shaft is aligned in relation to trunnion; at that, alignment is performed based on measurement of distance deviation in relation to initial position of trunnion. After that, thermal expansion of outer bearing race is provided by heating its outer surface and butt joint of the second module is completed. The other invention refers to the device for implementing the above method, which includes movable frame on which ring-shaped trunnion heating device is installed; at least one temperature sensor intended to measure the trunnion temperature, and measuring device of deviation of radial distance between shaft, which is to be installed inside the trunnion, and initial position of trunnion.
EFFECT: inventions allow reducing damage risk of inter-shaft bearing during assembly of gas-turbine engine.
