FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: cooling device includes electric water pump which performs circulation of cooling agent, radiator which dissipates the heat from cooling agent, electric fan which cools the radiator, control device and the first flow velocity correction device. Control device controls velocity of discharge flow of electric water pump on the basis of target flow velocity set on the basis of amount of heat generated in the engine, and controls the operation of electric fan on the basis of cooling agent temperature. When cooling agent temperature is equal to or more than working temperature of fan, at which the operation of electric fan is started, the first flow velocity correction device increases the velocity of discharge flow of electric water pump in compliance with cooling agent temperature increase. Cooling method of internal combustion engine is investigated.
EFFECT: improving cooling efficiency of internal combustion engine.
