FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: double-stage turbofan engine includes fan, inner stage of jet engine, in which the first stage flow circulates, exhaust nozzle for the flow of the second stage, which is enclosed with nacelle. Also, double-stage turbofan engine includes radial opened nacelle devices, which allows diverting at least some portion of flow of the second stage without creation of reverse thrust. Radial opened devices include at least one hole which can be closed or opened by means of damper. When damper opens the hole, it serves as aerodynamic brake.
EFFECT: improving safety during aircraft deceleration.
