FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: unit (30) of gear change made according to layout "superposed H" consists of shaft (32) of control over change and selection of gear and of interlocking device actuated with pressure of working substance. On its one end shaft (32) is kinematically tied with lever of gear change, while on its another end it is kinematically coupled with devices for gear change in a gear box. Owing to interlocking device a driver can detect unintended change of inadmissible gears in the gear box at gear change in a splitter, caused with autonomous transfer of shaft (32) of change control and selection of gears from one "corridor" to "corridor" with both nearest reduced gears. Shaft (32) in unit of gear change travels from one "corridor" to "corridor" with both nearest reduced gears under changed force along length of its setting run.
EFFECT: simplified design of unit and increased reliability.
