FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of disinfection of fluid media with bactericide radiation sources by way of suppression of vital activity of microorganisms dangerous to human health and may be used in food industry and in medicine for various liquids pasteurisation and sterilisation. The milk pasteurisation plant contains the following components, mounted on a common frame in the technological order: a storage vessel, a delivery pump, a plate recuperator, an drum-type infrared processing unit, in communicative flange whereof pipe-like radiators are fixed, distributed within an open-ended reversive channel and mounted at circular operating clearance relative to the reflecting heat-insulated body, control and power supply units. The infrared processing unit channel, via a tubular thermostat, is connected to the plate recuperator which is additionally equipped with an autonomous cooling agent circulation channel and communicates with the storage vessel via a three-position valve; the infrared radiators pipes are made of quartz glass while the heating element is represented by a nickel-chromium or carbon fibre.

EFFECT: invention allows to ensure complete elimination of pathogenic microflora combined with preservation of native milk properties and to expand technological capabilities of the plant for functional purpose and auxiliary routine maintenance.
