SUBSTANCE: material is proposed, which is liable to elastic stretching and is designed to make absorbing items, such as panties. The laminate (1) liable to elastic stretching and containing the first cloth (2) of non-elastic non-woven material, the second cloth (4) of non-elastic non-woven material and elastic film (6) between the first and second cloths (2, 4) of non-woven material, at the same time the laminate (1) was given elasticity in the first direction (MD) by means of step-by-step stretching and partial rupture of the first and second cloths (2, 4) of non-woven material. The laminate (1) contains a strengthening layer (8) arranged between the first and second cloths (2, 4) of non-elastic non-woven material and containing non-broken strengthening fibres or elementary threads (9) passing in the second direction (CD), which is substantially perpendicular to the first direction (MD).
EFFECT: invention relates to an item of panties type, including the laminate liable to elastic stretching, which gives the item higher strength when stretched and more resistance to piercing.
