SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of animal breeding. Method lies in the following: animals are exposed to low-intensive non-thermal SHF-irradiation in frequency range 2.0-4.0 GHz with power flow density 10-10-10-12 W/m2. Irradiators are located at 1.5 m height above calves. Irradiation is performed during two sessions, each 45 min long at 8.00 and 20.00.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase live weight gain in calves.
