FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device intended for conversion of melt fluid products into fluid-drop form by sprinkling and solidifying the drops. Proposed device comprises rotary perforated basket wherein fluid melt is forced via cover union. To eliminate intermittent effect of basket perforation obstruction, mechanism of vertical impact-and-shake basket transfer is used. Invention differs from known designs in that basket revolving shaft is made up of two parts, i.e. top rigidly jointed with basket, and bottom parts. Shaft parts are articulated by movable joint with elastic inserts that transmits rotation. Note here that impact yoke of aforesaid mechanism interacts with shoulder jointed solely to shaft bottom part.
EFFECT: reduced required impact-and-shake force, longer life of bearing assy.
