FIELD: centrifugal melt granulators widely used in chemical industry for making carbamide, potassium nitrate and other fertilizers, possibly in other branches of chemical, oil-chemical and pharmaceutical industries. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes chamber mounted with possibility of rotation, cylinder for feeding melt, guiding blades and acoustic oscillation source. Chamber has cylindrical perforated walls. Acoustic oscillation source is in the form of electromagnetic vibration exciter with elastic member having rigidity (4-15)(4-15)•10³ kg/mm. Rod provided with plate in the form of shaped disc is mounted on elastic member. Ratio d/D of disc diameter d to diameter D of perforated chamber is equal to (0.1-0.15). Profile of disc at two sides is restricted by cutting off plate by means of half of flattened ellipsoid truncated along its large axis and having ratio b/a of its small axis b to its large axis a equal to 0.2-0.3. Disc is mounted in central part of perforated chamber and it is spaced from bottom of chamber by distance equal at least (0.2-0.4)d. EFFECT: possibility of producing monodispersion grain-size composition even at changing melt flowrate and revolution number of chamber. 4 cl, 2 dwg
