FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention serves to collect particles contained in blast-furnace off gases. Proposed cyclone comprise housing with cylindrical section, inlet separator branch pipe to classify particles, at least partially, to sizes, discharge channel, at least one discharge tube to discharge fine particles separated in said inlet separator branch pipe into discharge channel. Proposed method comprises the following stages: feeding gas via branch pipe to cyclone with branch pipe separating particles partially by their sixes and distributing them over branch pipe zones, withdrawing gas from branch pipe zone wherein finer particles prevail, and feeding separated particles back into blast furnace.
EFFECT: efficient dust collection.
