FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to cut composite parts of puzzle (mosaic image) from full set consisting of a foamed ethylene-vinyl-acetate EVA. Technical result consists in increasing strength of puzzle composite parts. Method to cut composite parts of puzzle (mosaic image) from a whole image, including gluing a sheet of paper or cardboard with applied image to be cut into separate elements onto a sheet made of foamed ethylene-vinyl-acetate (EVA) and cutting of image with application of cutting matrix, comprising wood panel, which bears thin cutting separation plates, differing by the fact that above wood panel of cutting matrix on its whole working surface a sheet of foamed EVA is glued, thickness of which is at least equal to height of cutting separation plates or exceeds it.

EFFECT: improved strength of puzzle composite parts.
