FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production and assembly of mosaic-type finishing materials. Technology for making and assembling facing set includes use of prepared elongated moulded material from wood as base for production of workpieces formed during its crosswise division, treatment of obtained workpieces with protective composition with their further separation to form at least three different-thickness segments, combining of which into a single structure by their stacking with back sides provides creation of a front surface, manufacturing of a set of two panels, each of which consists of reinforcing base, having connected with it rear sides obtained earlier, different in thickness segments forming a complete finishing fragment of mosaic type, which is joined part of facing material. Both panels are joined to form a unit, in which each segment of one base with the front surface adjoins the front surface of the segment of the other base with formation of different-height connecting sections limiting segments displacement.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of mounting quality.
