FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: pit edge includes berm with cross-over for dump trucks of high carrying capacity, which is located in upper part of pit, and berm with cross-over for dump trucks of low carrying capacity, which can overcome high slope, and which is located from surface to horizon of target depth of the pit. Horizontal platform between berm branches for dump trucks of low carrying capacity, which can overcome high slope, is located above horizontal platform before berm end for dump trucks of high carrying capacity. Berm for dump trucks of high carrying capacity is fully occupied throughout the width with tiers of dump of overburden rocks.

EFFECT: improving development efficiency owing to reducing transportation costs of rock mass from lower part of pit and increasing the volume of dump of overburden rocks, which is located on berm with cross-over for dump trucks with high carrying capacity in upper part of pit.
